When it comes to dieting, you are supposed to do snacks in between meals. Why? Well actually there are two reasons behind this. First off, when dieting, if you would just eat 3 meals a day you could quite possibly become VERY hungry. You have to figure if you have a work week and you eat breakfast at 700am, lunch won't be until 12 - chances are you will get hungry before that. And if you don't stop to eat a snack, you could overcompensate during lunch and end up over eating. This is not a good thing Second off, snacking keeps your metabolism going - and your metabolism is how you lose weight because it burns off fats and calories.
